A somewhat grand title which covers any venue which has accommodation and golf on-site. This can be any type of accommodation with any type of on-site golf course or any type of golf course with any type of on-site accommodation.
Golf Break Packages
This category is for venues who offer all-inclusive or tailor-made 'accommodation with golf' packages using one or more of the local golf courses. It also covers golf courses who arrange an accommodation package using local hotels and guest houses. Packages may or may not include meals and other services.
Golf Arranged
This is for venues who offer the minimum of a tee time booking service. They may also provide other services, such as: providing golf course details; suggesting and organising golfing itineraries; arranging transport to & from the course; arranging tuition; booking caddies; arranging concessionary green fees.
Green Fee Discounts
This covers venues who can offer discounted green fee concessions at local golf courses.
Discounts can take a number of forms, including: formal/informal arrangements between the venue and local golf courses for residents discounts; voucher schemes [such as ‘Passport’ schemes like “Freedom of the Fairways”]; or a contribution directly from the venue, in the form of a voucher or discount on accommodation.
